To the Editor:

The present Bush regime is toast.

The present Bush regime is toast, over, done, finis, or as they say in Hawai'i, "pau" because Bush is completely stuck to his Iraqi tar-baby, and for him, there is no possible escape. Bush lied his way into Iraq, but he won't be able to lie his way out of Iraq. Too many American military servicemen have died in Iraq, too many billions of U. S. taxpayers dollars have been wasted on this stupid war on Iraq and too much Bush rhetoric was said before the ill-fated invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Bush is losing his cool about his invasion of Iraq. Bush subconsciously revealed his growing awareness of his self-created predicament with his infamous juvenile schoolyard taunt "Bring 'em on" crack, his own personal way of egging-on the Iraqi resistance to British and American military occupation currently stationed in Iraq.

Afghanistan is now in a shambles, Iraq is now in a shambles and our domestic economy is also now in a shambles. All the tax cuts for the rich in the world will not revive or jump-start our dead-in-the-water economy. Bush and Cheney will be roundly defeated in the coming 2004 Presidential Election by Clinton (Hillary) and Gore (Tipper). Imagine these two phony macho dudes being defeated and sent packing by two strong women. What a hoot.

Yours truly,

James K. Sayre
