Use of essential oils: a caution

Essential oils made from plants are very concentrated. They should be used with extreme caution. Herbs that are not toxic in small doses will yield essential oils that are highly toxic in very small quantities. Almost all essential oils are toxic if used internally. Essential oils should not be employed on young children, the elderly or any adult in a weakened condition.
