Why exactly did Darrell Issa become the auto alarm king?

To the Editor:

Now we know why Representative Darrell Issa (CA - R)

became the car alarm king. It was a case of "I must

stop myself (with car alarms) before I steal again."

Mr. Issa has been involved in three different

automobile thefts. If he had been convicted of these

crimes in California, he would have been sent to

prison for life under our three strikes law. Instead,

Mr. Issa is a member of the U. S. House of

Representatives and is funding the recall election of

Governor Gray Davis for his alleged corruption. Ah,

American corporate democracy in action: you gotta love

it.
