I met a million dollar crybaby in a five and ten cent California recall race.
To the Editor:
It was a little odd seeing a tough macho right-wing politician tearfully crying as he announced his withdrawal from the October 7th California recall election sweepstakes. He was polling with about 4% support and thus would have trailed several other candidates. He claimed that instead of continuing in the recall race that he triggered by spending over $1,000,000 of his own money, that he really wanted to just get back to his Congressional duties and support the mideastern Bush wars on Iraq and Afghanistan as the way to bring peace to the Middle East. Peace through war, it sounds like a plan to me. Actually, Mr. Issa may have some trouble being reelected to Congress now that his several brushes with the law about guns and stolen cars has been spotlighted by the press. Well, thanks anyway, Mr. Issa, for stirring up our California electoral pot.
Yours truly,
